The B064-064-08-IPG provides complete control of up to 64 computers and/or servers directly, including blade servers, from a single monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse. A Laptop USB Console (LUC) port allows direct connection of a laptop for easy console operation of the KVM switch. No server-resident software is required, so server performance and reliability are never compromised. Flash-upgradable firmware over an Ethernet network fine-tunes compatibility with emerging standards. The B064-064-08-IPG supports all major server platforms and VT100-based serial devices. This Cat5 KVM switch is designed to ease multi-server management in data centers, server rooms and other high-density environments. Built-in IP capability allows up to nine users-one local and eight remote-to access the network independently and simultaneously. An LED per KVM port indicates when a computer is connected to the port, when it is powered on and when it is selected. High-Resolution On-Screen Display Offers Multi-Language Support The advanced OSD with high-resolution video up to 1920 x 1200 (at 60 Hz) with 24-bit color depth provides a GUI with management tools, including custom port labeling, auto-scanning and panel array mode. You may set the IP address manually or have it automatically assigned via DHCP server (the default method). The B064-064-08-IPG offers three levels of password protection (super administrator, administrator and user) to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to connected servers/computers. Remote authentication support is provided via RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and Active Directory.
